How do you make friends with someone new?

Im going to college and i want to have an average social life.





but i want to know. How do you, personally, make friends with someone new?





what do you say, how often to talk to them, how to act... etc. Any tips like that would be great. :)How do you make friends with someone new?
Just appproach a student in your class or maybe even your dorm hall and introduce yourself, ask what they think about the school/ class, etc. Its easier to make friends when you dont think about. Well, this isnt kindergarten, so clearly you cant ask to play tag with someone. :P Well, a good way to ';make friends'; Is pertend to not have a pencil or pen on you, and ask someone around you that you wanna be friends with. Or ask people for directions on where classes are, and then be like, sorry whats your name? then you say ok, thanks ____ See you around! You`ll find your friends in college.

lol well me and this girl named breana r now very good friends. She was the new girl in school. I showed her around 2 her classez and we bcame so close after that lol just b nice good luck gettin ur friend
If you're boarding in one of the residence halls, it's really easy. Strike upa conversation with some in the food line. Go to functions there. Join one of the student associations. Volunteer your time. Pledge to a fraternity/sorority (at least go to some rush functions). Talk to people win your classes. There are innumerable other ways. If you got to church , synagogue, or mosque, strike up acquaintences. there.
