How do you stay friends with someone that loves you?

This guy really likes me... which is unique. But I'm just not ready to date. How do I get him to stop putting so much pressure on me to like him back?How do you stay friends with someone that loves you?
Tell him you don't want a relationship and you're not ready for it. If he really loves you, he should respect your wishes and not make you feel like its either ';date him or hate him';.

i had the same situation like 2 years ago. i was friends with this guy and i really liked him as a friend. but then i started getting the signals that he wanted to be more than friends, and i was kinda pushed away by his behavior. he told me, but then i just told him that i didnt like him back in that way...


anyway, it was kind of awkward in the beginning...


but like after a while, were just friends again.





dont worry if he really likes u, then he wont pressure u, he will just let u be if u tell him that u just want to be friends.

If he's being psychotically stalk-y about it, stop talking to him. If he's just being respectful about it, tell him again you're not interested and you just want to be friends.
Tell them the truth right to their face with as much caring for their feelings as you can muster.
