How do you stay friends with someone that you like?

There is a girl that I really like, but when I asked her out she said that she only sees me as a friend and does not want to loose my friendship. How can I stay friends with her if I still really like her?How do you stay friends with someone that you like?
You can't be effective friends until you pull yourself away for awhile for the feelings to subside. Look for qualities in her that you don't like and dwell on them.


Eventually you will be able to be friends with her without hounding her like you like her.





But, if you keep trying to stay close, your going to end up going past the comfort zone and it will make her standoffish with you.

if a man says ure just a freind, it means he wants sex and only sex. if a woman says ure only friends it means shes repulsed by the thought of u touching, kissing any part of her body. Since u asked her out she will probably start avoiding u now. women dont think about 'losing' a friendship. if we like you we will only think OMG maybe this can be MORE than friendship. were emotion-whores. If she was attracted to u on any level she would have agreed and u wouldve been stuck with her. but shes not into u dude. sorry.
