Well think about it. How did you make friends with those ';used to be friends'; of yours? Anyways, just go up to the person and say hi. Just a casual hi. When they respond, say how's your day and you know, just all the nice stuff. In school, sit next to a person or get to know a person in class. I'm a loner myself. The best way for me was to just open up and start a conversation with everyone. It's difficult, however I found that the best way was to make the first move in starting a conversation. If the other person responds negatively really it's there problem. Join a club at school and make it mission to meet at least 3 new people.





Make a mission for yourself each day. it could be something small like say hi to at least 3 strangers. Have fun. =)
Awwwwh im sorry,well dont be shy! if a person is really nice and would want to talk to you they will! try and talk to you but there is a point where people get reallly shy and other people just cant stand it . no one likes a shy person. sorry to say but its the truth. just try and talk to people. i used to be shy when i was lil but i took lil steps and started doing things i would never ever do, so thats what you have to do, just ask questions. : like hey where did you get that ...? i love your shirt? cute shoes? everyone likes compliments ! if you are really nice and start saying good stuff to them (not too much) they will love that, everyone does! im sure they will start talking to you! JUST DONT BE SO SHY AND IN YOUR OWN LIL WORLD! talk. you onnly live once. give everyone a chance you dont just need 2 or 3 friends. ! :) you could do it.
I know how you feel, I'm in a bit of a rut socially too. you have too speak up and put yourself out there. Make your self known to other people and if your own friends wont hang out with you then **** them, there not your friends. At school find some new ppl who will talk to you and start hanging out with them at school, from there start calling them.

Just be yourself


Don't try to look cool, people think thats lame.


Just be 100% you and go talk to other people, because they are not gonna come talk to you most of the times.

I was like that last year, because I had a controlling boyfriend. And I had to completely rebuild my friendships. Just smile and be open. Say hey to people when you walk by them. Just be friendly. If you had old friends that you don't talk to anymore.. try talking to them again.

as time goes by people will start asking you to be friends.


but do not pick one flick of friends.

Siera, eventually you have overcome your shyness by talking. Start slow try not to impress anyone but yourself. Soon you will find yourself surrounded by people and have forgotten that you use to be a loner.
well if they are not coming to you then approach them they are probably scared to approach you.

Act like their impressing you or like your learning from them even tho their stupid. As an engineer i have to act dumb in order to have friends
