How do you stop being friends with someone?

there's this guy sean in my school and when i first started talking to him he was nice but recently he keeps insulting me like calling me stupid and all this other really personal stuff. its really difficult because he is friends with all my friends and he like lives down the road from me. i just dunno what i can do.i don't think i can just tell him to f#ck off. help?How do you stop being friends with someone?

I think everything he is doing to you, do it back to him. He'll soon get annoyed like you are getting with him. Then when he tells you to stop it or asks you why you're being like that tell him because he's doing it to you and you wanted to see how he liked it. Maybe after he's realised or experienced what it feels like he will stop being like it towards you but if not if he doesn't stop being friends with you, ignore him and try and hang around with your other friends more.
Be really cold towards him.. For example talk to all your other friends about something and when he joins in just talk over him. If he tries to talk to you on your own look away as if he is not there and then just walk away. You need to do it for a while then he will get the message and just not bother talking to you anymore.. I felt betrayed. This friend of mine was no stud or anything, he was kinda a geek. I sought revenge.


One of our mutual friends also a guy agreed to my plan of humiliating him.

Later that day one of our other friends came up to me and asked me if I 'heard' what happended.
If you tell him to f*** off then it could just start a vendetta and the situation become worse.The smart thing to do is rise above it and just let it wash over you.Take no notice,let it go,he will get bored with insulting you if you do not retaliate.

Just distance yourself from him. Try doing things with your friends where he won't be. Ignore him. He sounds like a joke.
