Would you be friends with someone you viewed as being much prettier or thinner than you?

Would you feel bad in social situations with a person more attractive or would you be okay with it? I realized I don't choose to be friends with people far more attractive or thin than myself because of the feeling of competition for attention. How to deal?Would you be friends with someone you viewed as being much prettier or thinner than you?
I have been and I used to think that I was just the 'shadow' they kept to make themselves feel better... then I began to get over it and realized that everyone has something attractive. The only person I tried to 'befriend' whom I was truly jealous of was tall, extremely thin (like 95 lbs) and when she walked in the room, everyone would stare and all the boys became drooling dogs. Then she slept with my man. So you're not the only one who is learyWould you be friends with someone you viewed as being much prettier or thinner than you?

no, I don't choose my friends based on looks. my best friend is gorgeous , guys hit on her all the time, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to be friends with her. We're not like most teenage girls, our lives don't revolve around getting guy's attention. its not a big deal.

Choose your friends for their hearts, not their looks.
You deal by getting over your insecurities.
I can relate to that, and I don't think it necessarily has to do with being insecure. It's just human nature.
I don't become Friends with people just for their looks.

If they happen to be prettier then whatever. I'm fine

with it. It's not about competition. =)
well personally im not bothered. all my mates are much better looking than me but im really not bothered about what people think tbh. but thats just me
