Facebook: is there a way to be friends with someone but prevent them from seeing posts on your wall?

My dad wants to friend me on facebook, but I know he's going to stalk my wall and complain about all the guys that write on it. Is there a way I can prevent him from seeing it but still be friends with him? Yep ! when you add him as a friend , click on the option ';limited profile'; so your dad wont get to write on your wall or see your albums and stuff ! or if you dont want him on your facebook at all , block him and tell him you dont have facebook !
