If you are in a relationship with someone and go years of being on/off , still think constantly about that person and keep getting back together, and also still see the love in their eyes no matter if you are over him/her or not, then that is your soulmate!

To be your soulmate......first you have to have strong beliefs in what a relationship is, and the person that you want to be with. should feel the same way....... to many women get caught in the trap of finding love and soulmates... when the truth is no 2 people think the same way.... example...... you'll have to understand everything doesn't revolve around an ideal...
just try and be happy in life in general... worklife...socialising.....relationships鈥?if you can do this... you'll find that you will be the perfect soulmate for whoever you choose....

I think soulmates are for the movies. Really, there are probabally any number of people out there that you could be married to. You need to look at the one you are with and decide if he is right. There will always be things that make you mad, and annoy you, but some people have more of those than others. You need to decide if you can put up with the bad things for the rest of your life. If so then he is the one. I know it doesn't sound very romantic, but it is realistic!!!
You just know. No doubt in your mind whatsoever.

If you think about the person constantly, can't stand to be away from them for even a minute, can have fun with them no matter where you are at or what you are doing, and absolutely love them to death i would consider that a soul mate... Friends come and go but love is hard to find especially with the right person...
This sounds like a cliche, and I know how infuriating I used to find this answer before I met my fianc茅 (so I apologise!), but when you meet 'the one' you really do just know it.
The relationship just feels so comfortable so quickly. It's like putting on a favourite old pair of slippers, unromantic as that sounds! It brings a balance and contentment to your life that you never realised you were missing until you found it and you feel completely secure in the love of that person and the life you have together.
I'm sorry I can't explain it better, but I don't have the words to describe the feeling. It's overwhelming and wonderful.

If you do love the person %26amp; you still talk about important things (not just idle chat) %26amp; truly enjoy being with each other after 2 years or longer (the euphoric hot lust-love stage doesn't go past that time per experts) , I believe they are a candidate for your soulmate.

You can look into their eyes and feel love. Your whole body feels numb. You can tell that person anything in the whole entire world. You never want your conversation to end. You feel a physical attraction but it's more then that to you. You have a connection with them. You know it is your soulmate, because you can just feel it.

My soulmate is my husband how lucky is that? We quite often share the same thoughts do not have all the same likes and dislikes but it seems to have a way of not really mattering.

People mix up what soulmates really are. Your true soulmate is within yourself and then you have our celestial/angel friends. This means our soul/spirit is friends with another soul/spirit. A soul mate is not your partner, boyfriend, girlfriend. Its a term to describe the bond but is inappropriatly missused. Your soul mate can be a plant, animal, member of your family, anyone or anything. Finding your soul mate on earth simply means that your astral/celestial friend is in another living form and that you have found each other. When soul mates do find each other, it usually a tragic thing, meaning that it is vertually impossible for you two (you have many many soulmates but it's rare to find more than a few in your current lifetime) to have a wedded type relationship. It is limited to mainly a friendship type thing as many soulmates can be your pet, your grandparent, your nephew, a good freind who you have trouble geeting along with but you know each other from the other realm. The soulmate you think you have as a partner is not your soulmate, these people are your LIFEMATES, thats all. Soulmates have a ';feeling';type of comunication (non verbal telepathic) and have a connection metaphysically to one another, and when you reseach each others past you find that you both, all 3, all 4 or whatever, you all have had very very similar occurances and life dicisions made (you can see this in animals too only if you know their past). Soulmate is the friend of your spirit and not your frind per say. Lifemates are the ones you can spend a lot of your time with. I hope this can somewhat clear the air!
well i have been told there is a soulmate for every one and if u have found that soulmate but theres no love then thier really not your soulmate there will be someone else out there.
I thing a soulmate is someone who is your everythin! Someone who within you're heart you feel you know really really well even when you have known them only a few days!

It's someone you want to spend all your time with doing all kinds of things together as well as romantic things. Just like you would with your best female friend. Your soulmate should understand you and support you and you would do the same, you laugh, cry, have fun with, and even argue with. It's hard to explain but most people just know when they meet their soulmate.
You just know, I can't give you any more information than that. I met my man, he's my best friend, we talk about everything and life is wonderful. I can't imagine ever being with anyone else.

Have you seen identical twins being interviewed? They even have an uncanny ability to finish each others sentences!!! This should give you a clue when you find a soulmate. There have been cases where, when one dies or suffer a trauma, the other ';knows'; even when apart.
If you're asking how you know if you really love someone, then you are not in love cuz its something that you feel. That's why there's no ideal definition for what ''love'' means. Also, people confuse love with sex or infatuation. They are totally different things entirely. For more info, meet a counsellor.
Many people look for a soulmate. It is really just a fanciful notion and not easy to define. Trust and loving someone when they are being themselves and not how you want them to be. If you both have that then you are near enough.
Love can come in many ways, shapes, and forms...by the book, the real definition of love is: A strong, positive emotion of regard and affection for another person, but I believe LOVE is not a label, its a feeling. Sad but true, it is way over-rated and thought about too deeply. Most people spend their whole lives trying to define their feeling of love to another person, and trying to answer questions like ';WHY'; they love them, and ';WHAT'; they love about them, when it is not like that at all. The best way to explain love, is not to explain it. When my husband asks me, ';Why I love him?'; Of course I could say, because you are good to me, I think you are handsome, and I like spending time with you, but those kind of ANSWERS to such a strong question couldn't possibly be the reason why I LOVE him so much. So I say to him, ';I don't know why, all I know is.......I just do. Its a feeling you just know is there, not knowing why, you want to breath for another person, laugh when they laugh, cry when they cry and die when they die is a feeling that cannot be defined, and shouldn't be. You will know when you love a person just by your heart and soul telling you, and when you finally HAVE it and you finally FEEL it, you will KNOW it, so keep it and leave it as that, just the way it should be..
